| Why Commercial Vehicle Insurance?
Commercial vehicle insurance is designed to provide
adequate amounts of insurance coverage for vehicles being used for
commercial, service or retail purposes. Non commercial vehicle policies
are not designed for vehicles owned by corporations or businesses. They
rarely provide liability coverage in amounts required by commercial
customers, and they do not offer coverage for certain uses or classes of
vehicles. Further, they cannot provide such business coverages as
non-owned auto, on-hook coverage, and commercial trailer coverage. Nor
will they provide additional insured status for vendors or customers.
For those reasons, the underwriting information required
to quote commercial vehicle coverage is different and more extensive than
